French president Emmanuel Macron announced that in early January there would be a gathering in Paris of "a coalition of willing" on safety guarantees for Ukraine. This is related to the peace agreement presently being negotiated with Russia. This announcement came shortly after Donald Trump spoke to Volodymyr Zelenski, as well as their teleconference with European leaders.
