Macron, Greenland. France is betting on the Arctic

French president Emmanuel Macron made a one-day visit to Greenland. Macron's visit was the first visit of the head of state to the island since U.S. president Donald Trump spoke about it, expressing his desire to take over the territory of the dependent Kingdom of Denmark.
