The president of Lithuania spoke on extending the French atomic umbrella to another European countries. As he stated, he does not see the request to start a discussion in the country on the subject. “We have a joint atomic umbrella within NATO,” argued Gitanas Nauseda on Saturday.
"I think that present there is neither a request nor a request to start this discussion. We have a common bond. nuclear umbrella under NATO and it allows us to feel completely safe – he said Nauseda journalists.
