Macron would like UN support in the Persian Gulf

Emmanuel Macron spoke on the subject after the end of the EU summit in Brussels on the night of Thursday to Friday. As he said, France wants to check the anticipation that the mission to Ormuz will be covered by UN position - we have started preliminary action and will see if they have a chance of success in the coming days - he said. He explained that he had discussed this subject, among others, with UN Secretary General António Guterres and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modim.
