"Under Article 9(1), in conjunction with Article 7(2b) of the Act of 29.12.1992 on Broadcasting and Broadcasting, the members of the Council dismissed Maciej Świrski, by a statutory majority of 4 votes from the function of president of the KRRiT, on the basis of concern for the appropriate fulfilment of the constitutional duties of the KRRiT threatened by the actions of the ruling coalition in the Polish Parliament" - she said. The fresh KRRiT president, by a four-vote majority, was elected Agnes Glapiak.
