Macedonia reduces the acquisition of armored transporters

Information about the planned simplification of purchases of U.S. armored vehicles by Northern Macedonia was provided by Jane’s Defence Week, citing the words of the Defence Minister there (Vlado Misajlovski) during a press conference in mid-October. Consent to retrieve 54 strykers in the armored transporter (M1126), command wagons (M1130) and self-propelled kale mortars. 120 mm (M1129) was given by the [US State Department inactive in 2021](https://defence24.pl/industrial/Macedonia-north-ze-agreement-on-strakers). The simplification of the order is to be caused by analyses of the needs of the Armed Forces of North Macedonia. Thus, the cost of obtaining them will be lower than the estimated USD 211 million. Deliveries are due to start next year.
