Aleksander Lukashenka announced the "stage" release of political prisoners in Belarus. According to the portal Zerkalo.io, the Belarusian dictator announced that first those whose candidatures will be accepted by the members of the committee dealing with citizens' requests for violations of law they have committed.
Lukashenko explained the mechanics of the committee in a distinctive way. "And now Mukawozczyk (Andrej Mukawozczyk, associate of the committee - PAP) will say that (this candidate for release) is simply a complete bastard. And then we will resign and say, “No”. As with Pochobut and others" - he said on Wednesday evening.
Last release of prisoners
On September 16, Lukashenko issued a decree to pardon 25 political prisoners convicted of "extremist crimes". It's another organization of layoffs after a major September 11 action.
