As a rule, I am reluctant to review another publicists more extensively. However, it is not impossible to miss their circumstantial texts, especially in the context of their full activity. Today, that's the case.
The evolution of Tomasz Terlikowski, which has taken place in the last fewer years, seems to be known by everyone who knows about Polish publishing. He was Terlikowski a Catholic integrist and defender of conservative values, frequently speaking in hard to swallow style, hence he was called by the liberal (catho)talib side. At the same time – which must be stressed – contrary to mistaken opinion, he was never a promoter of individual freedoms or a supporter of economical liberalism. On the contrary, he was almost completely insensitive. I remember mine. start with him in early 2022 (i.e. just before Putin miraculously completed the pandemic) in the "Open System" of Igor Janke for sanitary segregation or coercion of vaccination. Terlikowski presented highly murderous views there and spoke wholeheartedly on the side of Sanitaryism, in which he has been consistent since the beginning of Covid madness, that is, since 2020. Another thing is that that moment, the beginning of the pandemic, besides marks the first phase of Terlikowski's transformation.
In turn, the symbolic ending of the times of the erstwhile Terlikovsky can be considered the last minute erstwhile it was authentically discriminated against as views, those of the erstwhile life. This was in 2018 erstwhile he was released from the Warsaw Medical University, where he was to teach bioethics and medical ethics. At the time she mocked his complaints about this situation "Gazeta Wyborcza" – Wojciech Karpiesuk wrote:
"However, I think that WUM, without employing Dr. Tomasz Terlikowski, lost a valuable lecturer. Dr. Terlikowski would make his views known not only in Poland but most likely in the world.

Sounds like another reality, doesn't it? Today, the WUM would most likely like to have Mr. Terlikowski among its lecturers, for “Electoral” Terlikowski became a welcome authority, and Fr. Rydzyk would alternatively have nothing to do with Terlikowski.
No wonder, due to the fact that during the last fewer years, the publicist has accepted the function of a classical licensed Catholic, who was previously performed by specified people as Adam Szostkiewicz, Marek Zając or Szymon Hołownia. For tolerance and progressiveness he is praised by this side of the worldview dispute he erstwhile fought fiercely. He besides became a mainstream pet safe adequate for him to be entrusted with conducting 1 of the morning interviews at RMF after Robert Mazurk. In these cases, there are no cases – what I compose as a publicist with over a 4th of a century of experience in the profession. Illustrationally speaking, it was not as risky to stand up to the fact about the existence of 2 sexes erstwhile Terlikowski did it, as Terlikowski is silent about it, but you are not silent about Minister Bodnar, having issued your celebrated guidelines to prosecutors. It would now be much more courageous to proclaim integrally conservative views, including in the sphere of religion, than in Terlikovsky's orthodoxy and his pious books.
In turn, conversion to progressiveness is not a symptom of any courage – it can be perceived as a manifestation of far-reaching cyclicalism. What is behind it in this peculiar case remains a mystery and subject to speculation. I'm not going into this due to the fact that I don't have a basis for this kind of speculation. Just that it's a fact.
It is worth noting the trait of Terlikowski, which was pointed out respective times in his interesting analyses by editor-in-chief “Christianitas”, Tomasz Rowiński. Rowinski pointed out that Terlikowski was arrogantly uncompromising and ardent in the old days, preaching his views with the fervor of the Calvinist minister. That's what quite a few people rejected. The views have changed, but this trait has remained, and as Terlikowski's sovereignty erstwhile affected, so it is today. I can confirm this from my own experience, due to the fact that I late had the chance to take part in a gathering attended by Terlikowski. And this was a closed meeting, so we can't talk about speaking in a certain way for any large auditorium.

He washes his hands due to the fact that there is no easy success, due to the fact that it turned out that there is no peace, although it was promised. Let people die, so that Trump can have his peace.

The beginning is that Terlikowski, who speaks about the war in Ukraine in an utmost way, has no thought of global policy. He has never been curious in it, knows no past of global relations, nor does he have the slightest thought of global relations theory. His interest is accelerant and leaping in the occasion of the war in Ukraine, where Terlikowski of course took a position full in line with the mainstream position and marked by childish emotions. Polish mainstream, due to the fact that it has nothing to do with the distribution of opinions in the debate at global level.
Terlikowski besides knows nothing about American politics. During Joe Biden’s reigns, he showed no interest in it, though from the point of view of the Conservative, things were alarming in the United States. Terlikowski now, of course, has an aggressive anti-trumpet position – which is besides completely consistent with the mainstream course.
In the quoted entry of everyone with a small decency must hit primarily the Gospel comparison: Ukraine as Jesus (although it does not fall out; I think Terlikovsky's hand moved at the last minute), Washington as Pilate. It is simply a simple, primitive insult and a simple usage of the primal and fundamental motive of the Gospel for dealing with ad hoc matters. As you can see, with the conversion to progressive natural barriers to specified comparisons fade.
But it is besides absurd at a lower level. Terlikowski, like many idealists (such as Piotr Zaremba), forms a parallel between human affairs and interstate orders. Which is simply a dangerous abuse and falsehood. I have written and talked about this in many places, including respective extended texts in the pages “To Things”, so they will not make here the subject of the distinctness of global order from the order of human ethics. I can only send back to Hobbes, Morgenthau, Kissinger or Mearsheimer. However, if Terlikowski were consistent, he would gotta denounce to the right and to the left and request that diplomatic relations with 1 3rd of the planet be broken.
Then we have a gross inconsistency. After all, the idealists of Terlikowski have long condemned any efforts to bring even temporary peace between Russia and Ukraine. The war was to continue, and the praise of peace was an onusicism. And it abruptly turns out that it is incorrect to neglect to make peace – even if it is clear for all more careful observer, Moscow is liable for this at this point (I myself have pointed out that everything will yet depend on it, since the inauguration of Trump's presidency), which is not curious in making an American offer. Above all, however, the situation is dynamic and talks are ongoing, so there is nothing definitive here. Terlikowski's citation of withdrawal from negotiations as a fact is typical of hysterics – this announcement is only part of the negotiating tactics.
The words "let people die, as long as Trump has peace of mind" are already a complete gibberish. After all, the USA has done the most to halt people dying in fresh weeks, as the faction, which includes Terlikowski, protested! And if the price for Trump's expected sacred peace was to be people's death, what would Terlikowski want? What would Trump do? After all, the continuation of broad aid to Ukraine is not the end, but the continuation of the tragic consequences of war. Then what? atomic attack on Moscow?
Terlikowski utilized to be annoying, but at least he had the value of a warrior of his own views. You knew what he was defending. His transformation completely destroyed this value. present he fights at most with his erstwhile colleagues who express amazement at his transformation, worthy of the prize of Eliza Michalik and Caesar Michalski.
