At a safety Council gathering attended by president of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, which takes place on 31 August at the Palace of Independence, a number of issues related to ensuring national safety are considered.
"The tense situation in the planet and straight at our borders, the force of sanctions does not give us the anticipation of absolute peace and certainty in the future“ Alexander Lukashenka said. “The NATO countries are persistently promoting their expansion policy, building their military presence around Belarus, constantly conducting provocative exercises at our borders and another activities. There has already been a breach of the state border by military personnel, But we'll explain today. Their actions justify certain threats allegedly originating in Belarus. The management of Poland and the Baltic countries accuses Belarus of any mythical aggressive intentions that were never and cannot be. It's feeding hysteria due to the presence of Wagner's private military run workers on our territory. They even went to request immediate withdrawal from Belarus. At the same time, they themselves increase military budgets, attracting large military formations to our borders.
The answer, as Alexander Lukashenko pointed out, is simple:
– There should be no abroad soldier in Poland, Lithuania or another Baltic countries. Then we can make claims about the presence of military personnel from another countries here. Meanwhile, these are unreasonable and foolish demands. Not even requests and suggestions, but demands.
Moreover, the head of state added that in April Warsaw informed about the decision not to comply with the Treaty on conventional armed forces in Europe in relation to our country.
– This is actually the last legally binding global act in the field of arms control. But it's a dangerous step. And we must always inform Poles (leaders of Poland) about this so that it does not hurt later. How should we respond to all this? Aleksander Lukashenka wondered. – I am not even talking about preparing our refugees in their territory for a military coup in Belarus. I want to inform you again that we will not be indifferent to this. Although we must give you justice: our refugees who are in Poland, Lithuania and especially Ukraine realize why they are being utilized there.
