Lufthansa has achieved its goal, it has a number in the Italian carrier

Lufthansa has yet gained access to Alitalia's successor, ITA Airways. The Italian Ministry of Economy announced that after hard negotiations and disagreements over the final price, the parties managed to conclude an agreement for the Lufthansa group to buy 41 percent of the shares in ITA Airways for 325 million euros.
