LUBLIN | gathering of clubs “GP” of Lublin land

At the initiative of members of the Lublin club “Gazeta Polska” – in the close Lublin Nałęczów – there was an integration gathering with all the “GP” clubs operating in Lublin.

The winter aura accompanying this gathering and the snow setting added a splendour to this gathering, at the same time reflecting the close possible of Christmas. respective twelve people from all over the region arrived in the guest walls of the hotel located at the Nałęczów Gate.

After making themselves comfortable in the warm and cozy hotel rooms, the participants ate dinner together, and during it they discussed plans and activities within the individual Clubs.

The following day was devoted in large part to visiting Nałęczów and its cultural assets. 2 of our large writers, Bolesław Prusai and Stefan Żeromski, were associated with this city. We visited museums dedicated to both writers, where many associated artifacts are collected. Perfectly prepared and talented guide and guardian of our group provided us with respective hours of fascinating adventure, allowing us to interact with the destiny of writers and their merits, not only in the field of national literature, but besides for the local community of the day.

Saturated with cognition and impressions, disheartened, we sat down for dinner at a close restaurant. Having warmed ourselves in the warmth of a cozy place and our own company, as well as a refreshing meal, we went into hotel doors to anticipate a peculiar guest this evening, actively cooperating with the tv "Republic", a well-known publicist, Marian Kowalski.

His highly interesting and inspiring talk focused on the presentation of the comprehensive possibilities that trigger the existence of the “Free Word Zone” allowing for a public presentation of the voice of our environment. He besides recalled that without the existence of the “Polish Gazeta” Clubs and their persistent patriotic activity, it would not be possible to build specified an extended community that reaches the ends of Europe and the United States. This environment, which is solid in persistent bottom-up work and hardened in adversity, expressed through many types of opinion-making media, plays and will play a vital function in the process of opposing the attempts of left-wing idealization of state and social life in our country. These conclusions were adopted with applause.

After saying goodbye to a good guest, we gathered at the supper, during which, as well as after it, there was a chatter of conversation, singing and dancing. A pleasant atmosphere of fun was enriched by individual musical performances of individual club members. The evening seemed endless.

The following day was a day of farewells, exchange of individual contacts and assurances that specified a gathering should become cyclical, which we are convinced will definitely happen.

Thank you for coming and co-creating an excellent atmosphere of gathering all the esteemed guests representing the “Gazeta Polska” Clubs in Lublin Voivodeship. I would like to thank my colleagues from the Lublin Club “Gazeta Polska” for their large contribution to the work and the creation of an atmosphere of warmth and hospitality during our three-day meeting.

The fundamental role, in preparation and during our assembly, was played by Teresa Florek-Nazar and her husband; Dariusz Kwiatosz and Marian Jedliński. They were the logistical backbone of the full task and filled them with creative enthusiasm.

We besides offer warm thanks to the hotel's owners for the warm reception and old Polish hospitality.

From the bottom of my heart, I thank everyone who co-created this three-day gathering of our Clubs; it deepened the relation between the Club members of our region and I am certain that it will produce wonderful fruit.
