Latvia orders further armored transporters

Latvia has so far ordered around 200 wheeled armored transporters from the Finnish company Patria 6x6 intended for motorized units, which was 1 of the key programs in the modernization of the local army. any of them (a fewer twelve wagons) were manufactured in the Finnish industry, but most of them are to be built on the site of joint venture plants called Defence Partnership Latvia SIA. In its case, the majority shareholder is the mentioned Patria holding 70.03% of the shares, while the others belong to the Latvian company Unitruck SIA.
