Airports in Radom and Lublin are closed. This is about Russia's attack

The Polish Air Navigation Agency informed about the temporary closure of airports in Radom and Lublin to let military aviation to operate after Russian attacks on western Ukraine, including energy facilities.

According to PAP and the military, the decision is preventive and will not importantly affect passenger traffic. In Lublin, the air space is to be closed by 11 and the first flight is scheduled for the afternoon. The terminal remains open. In Radom, another civilian cruise will not take place until 1 November.

The RFA Operations Command reported that fighters, an early informing aircraft and air defence systems were picked up. Mr Hadaj explained that akin procedures are always utilized in emergency situations.

13 people were injured in Russia's attacks on Ukraine, including six children. The aim of the firing was mainly energy facilities in the western regions of the country, including Lviv and Khmelnicki.
