French president Emmanuel Macron announced that there would be a coalition gathering in London on Friday. According to the origin of the agency Reuters, the president of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenski is to participate in the talks.
Ukrainian leader wrote on Monday on platform X that this week there will be "many meetings and negotiations in Europe". Zelenski confirmed after last week's gathering with US president Donald Trump that he would shortly meet with coalition leaders willing.
Objectives of the peaceful initiative
The coalition is led by UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, French president Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz. The initiative aims to strengthen cooperation between the countries afraid in order to scope a peace agreement on Ukraine.
The Coalition besides intends to guarantee that the possible future peace agreement is respected.
