Police in London reported the arrest of a second man suspected of arson of the home of British Prime Minister Keira Starmer.
The fire at the British Prime Minister's home happened on Monday. As a result, the entrance door to the building was damaged. The PM's house, where he lived for almost 20 years before moving to Downing Street, is located on Countess Road, North London. Media reports Starmer is renting his home now.
"A man aged 26 was detained at London Luton Airport ... on Saturday 17 May on a conspiracy to set fire to the intent of endangering the life of a person.... The detention involves 3 incidents: a car fire ... 8 May, a fire at the entrance to the building... May 11th and a fire in a residential building... on May 12th. All incidents have a connection with a known public figure," the London police reported in a statement.
According to the police, the fishy was detained by anti-terrorism unit officers and transported to the police station.
On Tuesday, London police detained a 21-year-old Ukrainian citizen, Roman Lavrynovich, who was charged with arson of the British Prime Minister's house, as well as 2 another arsons related to Starmer's property.
