Armed Forces Support Inspectorate reported that 2nd Engineering Regiment in Inowrocław received the first batch of strategy components yesterday Ultimate Building device (UBM). The transportation includes UBM-240, MIC-163, MIC-650 and MIC-850 machines. The maker is M.I.C. Industries. This is the consequence of an agreement that an American company signed with 2 Regional Logistics Base in January 2025. The Polish Army will receive 2 complete UBM systems, which will yet scope the 2nd Engineering Regiment in Inowrocław and 16th Airport Repair Battalion in Jarocin.
Subsequent deliveries of UBM components are scheduled in October and November. The inspectorate announces that applicable training of operators, who returned to Poland in May after theoretical training in plan and operation of the strategy at the manufacturer's office in the USA, will begin after method reception. Soldiers from Inowrocław are to finish their practices in their unit in November, colleagues from Jarocina and in December. The full operational capacity of the subunits is planned for the first half of 2026.
Deputy Minister Cezary Tomczyk announced that the first buildings and installations utilizing UBM would be built before the end of the year. “Polish officers have besides prepared a number of patents that will be utilized for construction. Steel structures utilizing these machines can be built even within a fewer twelve hours. This is simply a capacity which Poland has not had so far," stressed the Deputy Minister.
Ultimate Building device is simply a breakthrough tool for fast and economical construction of military infrastructure.
