Lithuania closes borders with Belarus. Hybrid attack

Lithuania decided to close 2 further border crossings with Belarus – in Sumskas and Tverecius. The movement will be halted from 1 March 2026. The Vilnius authorities argue that this step is simply a consequence to the expanding threat of hybrid attacks by Minsk, including uncontrolled influx of migrants and intelligence.
