Lithuania/ Military: Red alert in Vilnius area

The Lithuanian army reported on Wednesday a possible drone detection close the state border with Belarus.

In connection with the incident, NATO Air Police mission was activated and the airspace over Vilnius Airport temporarily closed.

The authorities recommended residents to go to shelters or another safe places. The shelters included the president of Lithuania Gitanas NausėdaMr Juozas Olekas and Prime Minister Inga Ruginienė.
