Finally, the country will have a fleet of 500 vehicles of this type, which will let for a crucial increase in the capabilities of Lithuanian soldiers in relation to the HMMWV cars utilized to date (especially for their protection). [At the end of last year supplies of 200 JLTV ordered inactive in 2019 ended](https://defence24.pl/strong-arms/Lithuanian-pegase-received). Interestingly, the Lithuanians bought [anti-aircraft systems very short scope RBS 70 NG](https://defence24.pl/power-arms/litwa-buys-anti-aircraft system-complement-Polish-groms) which can be integrated into these vehicles, giving a very mobile set to combat air raid measures at a distance of up to 9000 metres. Will Vilnius decide to make that call? Time will tell.
