Lithuania invests in arms. There will be more missiles for artillery

Vilnius will invest nearly EUR 11.2 million in the expansion of the Giraites weapons factory, which will double its production capacity. In mid-year, the government signed a contract with the German Rheinmetall to build fresh ammunition plants, and in September with the American defence technology giant Northrop Grumman global Trading.
