PSL plays green!
Issue 19/2026 "ANGORY" published a letter entitled "What's the PSL Game?" signed by A SKINLY CITIZEL, in which the author asks a question of the rank that even compares to Hamletowski Be or not be... The author asks: ‘Can anyone indicate at least 1 PSL task useful for our country, for all of us?’
It turns out that SKROMNY CITIZEN – as frequently happens with asking questions – knows the answer to them, which proves almost in the next conviction of his letter. "In fresh years we have raised over EUR 500 million from EU funds for agriculture. Most of these funds were spent in Poland through the Agency for Restructuring and Modernisation of Agriculture and its agendas, to which the PSL boys have been active for years in particular".
The author of the letter is right. The initiative to make the Agency for Restructuring and Modernization of Agriculture, as well as its later implementation, belonged to the Polish People's Party. In 1994, erstwhile the Prime Minister of the Government was Waldemar Pawlak, an institution was established to aid agriculture in its immediate problems, but besides to prepare this department of the economy and the full country for its expected and even awaited membership of the European Union. On the another hand, with respect to the another thread of the letter of the SMBLE CITIZEL concerning "PSL boys", yes, these boys came out with the initiative, they created the Agency's legal and organisational instrumentation, but the staff exchange ("including the cleaners") applied PiS 10 years ago. Appointed as president of the Agency Daniel Obietek (I do not know if Daniel O. should be written anymore) 1 day he dismissed respective 100 directors of the office and field offices of the Agency. Most of those people who wanted to file a suit won in the courts reinstatement and the appropriate compensation that we all paid. Daniel O. A SKROMNY CITIZEN rightly pointed out that PSL is “those who regulation in regions and local governments”. So they're doing something. possibly they even do a lot there.
On the another hand, I will not defend all of the PSL's moves, mainly those at central level, due to the fact that the organization has many spectacular mistakes, specified as not very successful pre-election alliances, which have resulted in various rags, meys and individuals with utmost narcissistic personalities in the Sejm. Objection
I compose inspired by an interview with Tomasz Jastrun entitled “The planet Is At A Turn” (ANGORA nr 18). Mr Tomasz is simply a very smart observer and akin to my age, so his observations and associations are highly close to me. At the same time, it shows a strong recognition mechanics for ‘its/foreign’ essential in the field of combat. It's not very common in civilians.
In turn his recognition with Israel is much stronger than with any another state. I don't see why I should identify with him. The kindness of Israelis towards Poles is widely known. Even our erstwhile Magierowski ambassador did not meet the affirmative attitude towards our country in Israel. My experiences are similar. Israel itself is simply a state of apartheid, and most late in addition to genocide and starving children of another race. Are we expected to accept this with knowing like Mr. Jastrun? On 20.04.2026, French president Emmanuel Macron arrived in Poland and in Gdańsk met with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tuski. During this Intergovernmental Summit, Poland – France discussed various problems, including economic, defence, energy, culture and others. But I would like to draw attention to another substance here. After this event, there were outraged and virulent voices of the members of the Law and Justice Service that this summit was deliberately appointed in Gdańsk alternatively than in Warsaw to prevent the direct gathering of president Nawrocki with Macron, arguing that Nawrocki is the president of Poland, not Tusk, and that specified a gathering should be at the level of the president with the President, not with the Prime Minister. Good change needed right away!
Citizen Kaczyński says Homeland, and thoughts – party. Citizen Nawrocki talks about changing the constitution for the sake of the Homeland, and thinks – the state is me. You can see it, you can hear it, you can feel it. I joined the European Union on 1 May 2004
Then Paris, Amsterdam, London, Berlin, Athens and Barcelona besides became my legacy – places where I could yet walk freely. I live here, but I can live where I want. 1 my boy chose Spain, the another Poland. Just look around: sewage plants, sewerage, waterworks, roads, highways, telecommunications – Poland reborn thanks to EU funds, cleaner, more beautiful, better organized. But for me, the most precious gift of the Union is something else – peace in my Europe. It can be assumed that if Ukraine and Russia were part of the same cooperation system, there would be no war. It truly costs small – tolerance for diversity (except for ideology of violence), acceptance of democratic law, equality of nations and open borders.
Membership in the EU reveals the paradox of possession: it brings benefits but at the same time creates a field of negation. Without the Union, present there would be no politicians and policy based on opposition to it – due to the fact that there would be nothing to reject. I feel gratitude for those who have brought us into the Union and opposition to those who are trying to bring Europe back to the planet of borders, authoritarianism and wars. RYSHARD
Constitution? But only mine!
It is hard to defy the impression that in fresh times in the Polish politics any things happen according to a permanent scenario: first you ignore the applicable rules, then you announce that these rules are incorrect – and at the end you propose to rewrite them, preferably under yourself. So he did the Law and Justice for years, breaking the constitution and choosing only those records that suit him, and this is the latest initiative of Karol Nawrocki, consisting in the creation of a squad to make a fresh constitution. The Constitution is the foundation of the state. If individual wants to change it, they should first show simple respect for the fundamental law that applies. Meanwhile, we are dealing with a politician who, alternatively of building the practice of a constitutional state, consistently tramples it.
The list of charges is long, although the period of co-regulation is comparatively short. First of all, it is simply a chronic deficiency of cooperation with the government, which in the parliamentary strategy is not an option, but an work arising straight from the basic law. The Constitution assumes the balance of authorities and their cooperation, not permanent conflict and blocking initiatives simply due to the fact that they come from the another side. If the head of state treats the government as an opponent, not a partner, then we are dealing with a distortion of the spirit of the constitution. In addition, there are balancing actions at the border or straight violating constitutional provisions – for example, attempts to grow their competences in spheres that are assigned to the Council of Ministers. This is about abroad policy or security, where the president has a circumstantial role, but he is not a decision-maker.
Meanwhile, Nawrock's communicative increasingly suggests a model of quasi-executive presidency, with an ambition of direct influence on the military, service and diplomacy. Even assuming that president Karol Nawrocki is someway a hostage of his extreme, national views, most of the anti-Ukrainian electorate, he should know, however, that the election run and elections have long ended and the president of Poland is not the president of part of the nation, but of all Poles. As president, he should know that the Polish state's rationale is far-reaching, without setting conditions, cooperation with the heroic Ukrainian nation, resisting imperial Russia Putin. prof. Jacek Czaputowicz, Minister of abroad Affairs, stated unequivocally: “It is in the interests of Poland that Ukraine is strong, we should support it and not cut roots, morale in their fight. Ad hoc business in a bleeding country (where respective 1000 Ukrainians are likely to die a month) will have tragic consequences." And finally, he utilized very strong words so that any of the “cuffed heads” would realize that: “They are strong as lions, they are cunning like foxes and they are states like hyenas and jackals. And we have a policy of hyenas and jackals." I'll leave that to no comment. Definitely a more gentle but precise question asked Poles from Ukraine, working in Poland for respective years: “Poles, what do you want from us?” I will admit, I do not know, possibly president Karol Nawrocki will answer this question, due to the fact that he, as it turns out, can justice all situation and separate right from wrong. Elevator to the sky
One morning I was delighted with the old hit of "Elevator to Heaven". You never forget a hit like that. I knew Elizabeth Dmoch was singing with group 2 Plus One, but I didn't remember who wrote the words. I Googled the title, and it turned out that Marek Dutkiewicz, who celebrates 55 years of work this year, informed ANGORA in the 12th issue. Those with a cradle in smartphones watch the planet from behind the windows of cars. 2 children in the country are standard, 3 and 4 are common, so cars buy newer and bigger. No 1 wads in the mud, everywhere asphalt, pavements, parks, flowers, fresh houses, bike paths, and yet the village stubbornly and unreasonably votes as if nothing has changed or as if all this was solely due to those who most loudly shout that black is black and white is white. And now this nightmare Czarnek, another misfortune, may the unfulfilled, naughty orthodox, from which 1 can anticipate all the worst, so I can see it blackly, surviving in the vicinity of villages specified as Black, Black, Dark and many others matching how he managed to heal another rabbit from Kaczyński's hat.
All the more crucial is the question, seemingly only rhetorical: what were the 500 and 800 plus money expected to service – procreation or recreation, due to the fact that we know that many of it is spent on trips, on scooters and rallies and subsequent cars in the family.
