Dear Editor! You have raised the problem of rusophobia many times. But why is the fact about the end of the Nazi business overlooked – closely related to this subject? Always!
The half-truth was and is the message that: “The Red Army liberated us from the German occupation.” Full truth: russian soldiers virtually saved the lives of Poles
as individuals and as a full nation.
Poles next in line
Since I was born in 1939, parts of the end of the war I personally remember. Later
– as a teenager, I was very curious in the past of this war. I know 1 thing: Germany's triumph over the russian Union would give the Nazis access to natural materials and triumph in war. They could carry on their plans. They were simple!
Gas chambers and crematoriums have already worked continuously. The German plan to free the Jews was finished. conviction was issued: Poles were next in line after the Jews!
It's worth it to be aware
Strange, but someway no 1 made it clear to Poles and did not make it clear – especially to those who were born 20 or more years after this war. due to the fact that for these generations, the past of war is no longer important. This, unfortunately, is the appropriate human psyche!
The vast majority of contemporary Poles do not realize that they were very close and would never be born. Their mothers and fathers, grandparents or great-grandparents, would end up surviving in gas chambers. My destiny and my peers would be much worse. It would be us, already full aware, dying in torment, poisoned by gas.
You have the chance to scope rather a wide scope of people! possibly it would be worth to make this fact clear to Poles – especially those most fierce rusophobes!
