The Central Anti-corruption Office is to cease to be on May 1, 2026. This is the consequence of the latest draft bill that the government has just put on the pages of the Government Legislative Centre. The rulers are moving the date of CBA liquidation, previously planned for July 1, 2025, most likely due to president Andrzej Duda's opposition. The task involves transferring the tasks of the Office to the Police, the interior safety Agency and the National taxation Administration, dividing between these institutions both the posts and the budget.
