The draft changes, which increased to life imprisonment for espionage, were tabled by members of the Law and Justice parliamentary club on Monday in the Sejm. Additionally, the punishment would besides include deprivation of public rights and pension rights. Jarosław Krajewski, Vice-Chairman of the Sejm Committee on peculiar Services, earlier this year reported rather openly that he was “an ardent supporter of introducing a conviction of life imprisonment for organizing and participating in espionage against Poland.” As you can see, his expectations were transmuted into a draft of changes in the law.
