Warsaw is the largest city in Poland and 1 of the largest in the region. The population of the Polish capital is steadily expanding - according to the study on the state of the city for 2024. According to the Central Statistical Office, on 30 June 2024 more than 1.86 million people lived in Warsaw, which accounted for 33% of the population of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship. The population of Warsaw grew in almost all territory - with 2 exceptions.
