The rocket hit Shama base, the office of the Italian contingent. No casualties have been reported among Italian soldiers, and the harm is small.
The Italian agency stressed that the defence minister Guido Crosetto is in contact with the Chief of Defence Staff, the Head of the Italian Joint Operations Command and the commander of the Italian contingent from which he receives news of the situation and condition of staff.
