Lebanon: 40 people died in Israeli attacks

At least 40 people died and 246 were injured as a consequence of Israeli attacks in the last 2 days – the Lebanese Ministry of wellness reported today. Israel is leading an offensive in Lebanon against Iran-supported Hezbollah.

A wellness ministry spokesperson said the number of 52 deaths reported on Monday was a method error.

Earlier on Tuesday, the Office of the United Nations advanced Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) reported that at least 30,000 people were forced to search refuge in temporary accommodation facilities in Lebanon.

Supported by Iran, Shiite Hezbollah announced on Sunday that he joins the earlier day of the US and Israel war, taking sides with Iran. The group attacked Israel with rockets and drones, which faced strong retaliation. On Monday, the Lebanese government banned Hezbollah from carrying out military activities.
