The leaflet contains the content of a paper by Dr. Krzysztof Kierski entitled “The Red Army in Warmia and Mazury”, and already in the first conviction reads: “The Red Army was entering. Soldiers smoked, killed, robbed, did what they liked.”

I was a teacher and educator for almost 50 years. I remember a lot, among another things, of the joy with which liberation was welcomed from German captivity in our village on Livov. This was in August 1944. russian soldiers stayed with us until December 1944, due to the fact that the front stood over the Vistula.
They were mostly simple people whose destiny had thrown into war and forced them to leave their families, friends, and loved ones. 1 of the weapons that allowed them to last in these hard moments were songs. PS I wonder why Polish soldiers fighting on the east front were forgotten before the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier during the Appeal of the Dead on 11 November? Not a word about fighting on Wala Pomerania, about winning Kołobrzeg, about the crucial fact for Poland that the Polish flag was flying on the ruins of Berlin.
