“When a dog dies...”
Out of respect for a friend
I mention to the article by Mrs Daria Grzesiek “When a Dog Dies...” in ANGORE No. 43. Not long ago prof. Jerzy Bralczyk expressed his opinion that in correct Polish the concept of death concerns man, while the animal dies and only this form is correct. It even hurt me not that this message was worthy of alternatively artificial intelligence, but that prof. Jerzy Bralczyk agreed with the authoritative explanation of the above statement, full accepting it. However, for many, many years the word has died in itself, in Polish language, primarily an component of contempt.
It just so happens that all day we don't hear (we don't read) even that bacteria or another surviving things, in any laboratory, under given conditions, died. alternatively – that they did not survive, that e.g. a given origin caused the death of bacteria or laboratory mice. I think it has something to do with the fact that even in relation to the killed mice, we have any subconscious respect for animals killed for higher purposes. You don't gotta have a dog companion for a fewer or a twelve years, who would without hesitation give his life in defence of a man, to make certain that we don't say that he's dying on our hands, that he's dying. Out of respect for a friend, we'll say he's dying.
What is more, we will not be shocked erstwhile individual says in a private conversation, as erstwhile did Hitler, Stalin, and now Putin, Kim Jong Una, and any dictators, or even lesser politicians, that he died, or asks: erstwhile will he yet die? This will be an expression of contempt for specified people, and it shows very well the context in this statement. I urge reading texts whose author is the well-known prof. Tadeusz Kotarbiński – philosopher, logic and ethics – acting in the defence of animal rights. He wrote, among others, "You are liable for the destiny of all those who are within the scope of your possible acts...". I will never agree with the message that a man dies and an animal dies. Everyone, no substance who he is, works for how after death others measure his life and what word they usage in consequence to the news of his death. Thank you again, Mrs Daria Grzesiek, for the beautiful text "When a dog dies...". Let's end this meaningless discussion!
There is simply a discussion in the media about the liquidation of the Church Fund. There's nothing to discuss here, just to rapidly destruct this creature from Stalinist times and not replace it! In Gierek's day, the Catholic Church acquired many properties from German Catholics and Protestants in Western and Northern lands.
After 1989, K.K. received additional tens of thousands of hectares of land, buildings and parceliums, etc. in connection with systemic changes. K.K. runs businesses that do not pay taxes: hotels called retreat houses, printers, very profitable care homes, pharmacies, tourist offices called pilgrimage offices, and even truck transport TIR (paraphistical company “Patron” from Gdańsk). K.K. has billion-dollar income from the salaries of preschool and school catechets. The state budget maintains theological faculties at universities to which diocesan and spiritual religious seminars are financially connected.
After the liquidation of the Kościelny Fund K.K. cannot receive additional taxation deductions of 0.7% or 1.2%. Church institutions of the Caritas kind and spiritual associations can receive on general terms, as so far – 1.5 percent of the Foundation for Freedom from the Religions of Lublin, to which I am paying annually from my PIT, besides receives 1.5%. The state cannot forge the Churches and collect money for them from our taxes. Churches must be treated as another associations or foundations, as is the case in France and as is enshrined in our Constitution.
Equality in the financial treatment of all entities should be ensured, among others, by the Minister for Equality, Katarzyna Kotula, and in addition to all state, self-government, individual citizens, including journalists. Let us not forget that it is the Catholic Church as a grey taxation region that owes you and us, citizens, yearly unpaid multi-billion-dollar taxes. Therefore, as a state and as citizens, we owe nothing to K.K. – K.K. is our financial debtor. And finally, let's finish the meaningless discussion about what to replace the Church Fund. Let us not look at Italian or German solutions, either, due to the fact that these are legal solutions referring to the times of Mussolini and Hitler, erstwhile these dictators and another ways bought the favour of church, Catholic, and Protestant decision makers (...). Not only a cattle doesn't change its mind...
To say that Mark Sawicki is pregnant with PSL like a drowning stone around his neck is not to say anything. I mean, of course, TOGO Sawicki from Sawic, Podlasie, due to the fact that I know a fewer others about this name, who are decent people, and even if they belonged to this party, they would bring at least benefit to the group – if not pride. Oh, yeah. Complete meatballs. Sawicki, a specialist in all social phenomena and a superb strategist who even knows who with the PO will be a presidential candidate, although the Platform itself does not know it yet, performs in the media almost all day and gives its golden thoughts. That it harms the government, it's an intentional effect, due to the fact that in the government it's not and it doesn't identify with it, but to ruin the reputation of its own party?
By the way, most likely unintentionally, it spoils the image of president Kosiniak-Kamish, dragging on the front pages of newspapers and gossip portals his unsacramental marriage. Even an Amish Cossack calling him! I never had any sympathy for Sawicki, due to the fact that this kind of peasant sage is someway not in my taste, and the minister was possibly even weaker than his Podlasie countryman from another faction. However, there was a minute erstwhile I looked at him differently erstwhile he was a elder marshal. War, money, war, money...
In this lousy war Putin started, there was already (and inactive is) much conflicting information about its course. My government decided to issue a letter to elder citizens created by them.
