And how accurate is this statement: there is my house, where my heart is, there is my country, where my life is. Everyone has a choice today. It is the 21st century, the age of comparative planet peace (with any exceptions), the era of global unification of states – the abandonment of part of their independency for the benefit of society. An example is Europe under the flag of the European Union, as well as the United States, a number of states under 1 superior authority that respects the rights of individual states. Countries are entering a higher level of energy. They unite for the sake of humanity. That's how unions, associations, pacts come into being. Unity for the sake of society. I believe that this is simply a new, higher level of social patriotism that has loved not the country, but humanity. due to the fact that there's nothing more crucial than human life and good.
Just like God, all men are equal. However, in this full cosmopolitan galimatias there are individual states whose societies are profoundly rooted in classical patriotism. However, I believe that these are systems of destructive view towards their own people. This profoundly entrenched view will someday be suppressed by the influences of modern social patriotism. Probably all of us had a situation where we were standing in front of the train, and there was a freight train on the tracks. Time is then very long – you can't go any further, and the train seems to have an endless number of wagons. Now imagine that a train consisting of respective twelve wagons is filled with 100 zł each banknotes. Exciting, isn't it? Especially after we watched movies of train robberies, where only a fewer bags of money fell off thieves.
We celebrate, we can even say, that we are celebrating, the twentieth anniversary of Poland's accession to the European Union. The amount Poland received from the Union from 1 May 2004 until the end of December 2023 is EUR 245.5 billion. 1 3rd of this amount, namely precisely EUR 78 billion, came under the Common Agricultural Policy and fed the pockets of Polish farmers. The Agency for Restructuring and Modernisation of Agriculture paid out to farmers, including EU and budgetary resources, PLN 471 billion. If you presume that a million PLN in hundred-gold bills weighs about 9.3 kg, then a billion will weigh 9.3 tons. Then 470 billion is simply a burden, in this case a benefit, of 4380 tons.
