Welcome to the 6th edition of the Pro-Life summertime Academy!
We invitation you to the Pro-Life summertime Academy – five-day workshops and a popular-scientific conference for pro-life leaders who want to deepen their bioethic cognition and learn pro-life arguments. Our invitation is addressed especially to leaders, teachers, educators, psychologists, household life advisers and catechestes.

Every day during the Academy lectures, workshops and meetings with interesting guests are held. We usually work with activating methods that make creativity and critical reasoning skills, broaden our perspective, and, most importantly, affect participants and aid us learn cognition and skills.We learn to perceive actively and to talk to those who have different views – always with respect to another man. We want to build a affirmative pro-life message to delight the beauty of life. The workshops last 4 days and a popular discipline conference takes place on the last day of the Academy (Saturday).Grade 1 is intended for those who first participate in the Pro-Life summertime Academy. For Grade 2 we invitation people with experience in acting for the defence of life – e.g. participants of erstwhile editions of the Academy.The experience of the 5 erstwhile editions shows that participation in the Academy can be a large chance to establish acquaintances with people with akin views from all over Poland.

- Grade 2 Friday-Tuesday, 3–7.07.2026 (PLN 650 – accommodation, catering, workshops and conference)
- Conference. Saturday 4.07.2026 – participation in the conference without workshops (80 PLN)

Speakers and invited guests
- workshops: Magdalena Guziak-Nowak and Marcin Nowak – members of the Polish Association of Defenders of Human Life, the originator of the Pro-Life summertime Academy, have been active in actions to defend human life for many years,
- Dr. Jolanta Przychniewicz – scientist and theologian, provides guidance for parents of children declaring homosexual tendencies,
- Dr. Piotr Guzdek – a familologist, academic teacher, specializes in bioethics, household anthropology, psychosocial and pastoral aspects of prenatal losses; he has been helping families organize household funerals of dead children, author of many publications on the subject
- Katarzyna Gross-Szumanska – educator, sociotherapist, psychotherapist, expert in teen depression and suicide crises

The workshop will be held in Krakow in 2026. Participants will be informed of the exact location.LAPL Grade 1 will start with dinner on Tuesday 30.06.2026 at 1:30 p.m. and end on Saturday 4.07.2026 at about 5:00 p.m.LAPL Grade 2 will start with dinner on Friday 3.07.2026 at 1:30 p.m. and end on Tuesday 7.07.2026 with dinner at 1:30 p.m.We provide
Accommodation, catering (breakfast, dinner, dinner and coffee breaks), expertise, competent lecturers, spiritual care, integration meetings. Although the Pro-Life summertime Academy is not a retreat, participants will be able to participate in the Mass all day.Participants should take

- The Pro-Life summertime Academy (Academy) is organized by the Polish Association of Human Life Defenders based in Krakow (pro-life.pl) and the Polish Association of Teachers and Educators based in Krakow.
- A associate of the Academy shall comply with these Regulations and another provisions in force at the premises of the accommodation centre.
- The number of seats is limited.
- Recruitment to the Pro-Life summertime Academy is two-stage. The condition for qualification is to complete by 19.04.2026 the electronic form of participation on the website academia.pro-life.pl and positively assessed by the organiser an online conversation (on 20-24.04.2026), which is the second phase of recruitment. After the associate has been qualified by the organiser, it will be informed by email or telephone until 8 May 2026. Details on the confirmation of participation in workshops and further proceedings will be provided to qualified persons by the organiser in an email with information on qualifying for participation in the academy.
- After qualifying, the associate will receive the transfer data by email. The fee of PLN 650 must be paid within 7 days of receiving the information about the qualification, i.e. until 15.05.201226. Failure to pay within the specified time limit means resignation from the seat and invitation of another individual from the reserve list.
- Persons who are on the reserve list or are not accepted will receive email information by 8 May 2026. Persons from the reserve list will be kept informed about the possible dismissal of the place on LAPL by email or telephone until the workshop begins. The order of contact will be determined by the organizer. Persons invited from the reserve list shall be required to make a deposit within 3 days of receipt of the location release information.
- The workshop associate is obliged to participate in all points of the Pro-Life summertime Academy program. There's no way to participate in just part of the class.
- Grade 1: Workshops begin at 30.06.2026 at 1:30 p.m. and end at 4.07.2026 at 5 p.m.
- Grade 2: Workshops begin with 3.07.2026 dinner at 1:30 and end with 7.07.2026 dinner at 1:30.
- Conference: held 4.07.2026 from 9:00 to 17:00.
- The associate is obliged to take the identity card with him.
- A associate of the Academy is prohibited from possessing and consuming drugs, alcohol and drugs.
- The organiser shall not be held materially liable for harm caused by the participant.
- The associate undertakes to pay a fee for participation in the Pro-Life summertime Academy, i.e. stay and board of PLN 650. This is simply a condition for qualifying for a workshop.
- The associate of the conference itself (without workshops) undertakes to pay a fee of PLN 80. Registrations for the conference are held on a separate form. The provisions of the Rules of Procedure on bi-stage recruitment and the work to participate in all sections of the Programme do not apply to participants of the conference itself.
Cancellation and reimbursement rules
The associate has the right to resign from participating in the Academy, informing the organizer by email to [email protected]. In the event of resignation:- lodged until 9.06.2026 (3 weeks before the start), the fee shall be refunded in full,
- up to 23.06.2026 (week before start) – the fee is refunded in 50%,
- After 23.06.2026, the fee is non-refundable unless the associate indicates a replacement accepted by the organiser or resignation is due to a documented random situation (e.g. illness, accident).
