Isabella Leszczyna, Minister of wellness for KO, declared that the government would introduce the availability of the pill ‘day after’ without a prescription, despite the President's opposition. This step clearly illustrates that the conflict between KO and PiS causes demolition of Polish institutions and generates a deep crisis in the field of power.
The draft amendment of pharmaceutical law was adopted by the legislature without any amendments being made. This act is now awaiting the decision of president Andrzej Duda.
The president declares that he will not approve the document, which means that the task will either be vetoed or addressed to the Constitutional Court.
According to Andrzej Duda, the task violates common sense and kid safety principles, given that the pill “day after” is now available on “reasonable rules”.
The president points out that in Poland minors cannot usage solarium themselves or consume energy drinks, and that they should be allowed to make decisions about utilizing specified pills.
– I don't mind, if this is the decision of a household or a parent, then specified a underage girl took it if necessary, but let it be with the approval of her parent, mother, father— said the president.

Deep Crisis
Poland is experiencing a deep crisis of power and institutions, which has been visible since the first days after the change of governments. Both the current administration and the PiS have their structures which do not recognise each other.
There were at least 2 different legal orders in the country. The current power intends to usage the same tools that the Law and Justice utilized during the pandemic period, which only exacerbates this crisis.
If the law is to be introduced through regulations, what is the meaning of the Sejm and the conventional legislative path? If the presidential veto yet doesn't matter, why fake democracy? Let the leaders of the winning parties sit at the table and establish the law – citizens will lose little on it, due to the fact that at least they will not gotta keep the bizbic parliament and the office of President.
