At the turn of April and May, the fresh band Rafał Sarnecki, 1 of the most recognized and recognizable Polish jazz guitarists in this corner of the world, will execute on the tour in China. The formation besides includes bassist Piotr Lemańczyk and drummer Adam Golicki will play 15 concerts in the largest metropolises including Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and besides Chongqing, Chengdu, Nanning, Zhongshan, Xi’an, Xiamen. The way will run from 24 April to 10 May and is organised as part of the JAZZ POLSku task “About the World/East Asia Stop”.
The band, consisting of guitarist Rafał Sarnecki, bassist Piotr Lemańczyk and drummer Adam Golicki, will start the tour on 24 April in Beijing and on 25 April will play 2 concerts in Shanghai, at the Lincoln Center club.
They will later execute at JZ Club in Hangzhou (April 26), J&Z Cottage in Hefei, and RealLive and Books in Xiamen (April 28-30). In the following days, they will visit Shenzhen, where they will play for Lavo and Vinyl home (1–2 May) and Nanning, Chengdu, Chongqing, Xi’an (4–8 May). The group will finish their tour in Beijing, where they will play for East Shore and Smoke (May 9-10).
In the following days, the formation will fly on a tour to Japan.
Lemanczyk/Golicki/Sarnecki tour The trio will inaugurate the latest edition of the JAZZ POLSCU task “About the World/East Asia Stop”, which will presume an yearly presentation of Polish jazz in Asia, including respective twelve concerts in China. In the following months, China will visit, among others, Jazzpospolita in June and Tomasz Chyła Quintet in September.
Lemanczyk/Golicki/Sarnecki Trio will advance the album "NYC Sessions", recorded with guest participation by Mike and Leni Stern. Their music can be described as mainstream jazz, drawing frequently from stone expression, elaborate harmony and beautiful melodic lines. The culture of sound and the full scope of moods give the music an individual scratch and constitute its uniqueness. The band was formed in 2023 and since then the trio has worked with stars specified as Randy Brecker, Mike Stern or Grażyna Auguscik, with whom they played respective concerts in Poland and the USA. The debut trio “NYC Session”, as the name suggests, was recorded in fresh York City. The material was recorded at Spin Studios in 2023 and was liable for the recordings by legendary sound engineer Roy Hendrickson known for his cooperation with artists specified as B.B. King or Pat Metheny.

The task was organised by JAZZ POLSKA “About the World/East Asia” and is co-financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage from the Culture Promotion Fund. Partners of concerts in China are: Polish Institute in Beijing, Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Chengdu, Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Canton, Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Shanghai. The logistics partner of the task is Polish LOT Airlines. The honorary patronage of the task was assumed by the Minister of abroad Affairs, Radosław Sikorski.
