At the time of the electoral campaign, which on Sunday (15 October 2023) would culminate with parliamentary elections, Ukrainian flags disappeared from public buildings, and the Law and Justice Government abruptly began to fight Poland's flood of method grain from Ukraine and criticize Volodymir Zelenski, even for Participation in the ceremony of honouring Ukrainian SS-man in the Canadian Parliament.

– PThe Olski government has adopted a simple principle: the benefits which Poles enjoy are besides granted to Ukrainian refugees in Poland. (...)
