In a fewer weeks the first copies of the newest Polish Army aircraft will arrive in Poland – the American F-35 Lightning II. According to Deputy Prime Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamish, the base in Łask, where Husar is to be stationed, has just received key accreditation from the US Armed Forces, can so accept and operate our newest aircraft.
"Glass Airport successfully passed American infrastructure expansion accreditation for F-35 aircraft, which was conducted in 32 Tactical Aviation Base in Grace. This is an crucial step in the process of implementing these modern aircraft for air force equipment" – said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence on social media today. 32 Tactical Air Base, alongside the Swidwinska 21 Tactical Air Base, indicated as the stationing site of 5th generation aircraft purchased in 2020 F-35 Lightning IIwhich in the Polish army will bear the name distinguishing Husarz. Base expansion It began in 2022. It covered respective investment projects, including: the construction of an operational centre, a service and service centre, the expansion of energy infrastructure, water and sewage and fuel, as well as safety zones. Although the real base in Łask has been ready for a fewer weeks to accept Polish F-35 aircraft, there was a deficiency of a proverbial dot over “i”, i.e. American accreditation, confirming that the facility meets all the requirements of US Armed Forces, both in terms of maintenance and information security. Our allies place large importance on the fact that only people authorized to do this, i.e. only the method service of these machines, can contact the newest aircraft.
According to the Deputy Prime Minister today, the U.S. control of our safety procedures and the grace prepared for the F-35 backroom showed that the base meets the standards required by them and obtained US Armed Forces accreditation. The first Polish F-35 is scheduled to arrive in Łask in May this year.
