How much depends on the Polish school and the engagement of educators!

There is simply a wooden cross moved from the historical cemetery to Lipowa Street, surrounded by boulders. The memorial was funded by the school community on August 16, 2008 - on the 145th anniversary of the failure of January insurgents.

The sign on the board says:

One has a life.

We must live them wisely

The full day he spent a prisoner with a 19th number at the wall separating from Traugutt's cell, waiting, and the knock won't ringing a single word. However, the hours passed and the smallest murmur outside the wall did not reach. The prisoner waited all day, waited all night, not going to remainder at all. He waited and prayed in the silence of the night... Silence didn't stop. The hours of the day passed slowly, and even slower, the hours of the night; the dawn, the trailer of the terrible day, on August 5, entered the prisoner's cell and found him in the position in which the setting sun left him. The silence outside the wall did not break. Finally, about 8 a.m. in the morning, 1 word rapidly rang... the last word: "Good-bye". After a while, the jaws of the weapon spread and the accelerated dense steps of many were heard at the door of the cell marked No. 19. The armed crowd rapidly passed, and the echo of the passage in the speedway was silent in the interior of the building. Traugutt was going to die. An hr later, he was lost on the slopes of the citadel.
