Lasecki: “Two” Francis popes

Pope Francis said any affirmative words to the Russian Catholics and has already brought on furious attacks of the System. Even the press services of the Holy See censored his words (also in the Russian language version), which proves that he struggles not only with the inheritance of Benedict XVI (religious conservatism), but besides with John Paul II (geopolitical and ideological-civilizational Atlanism and the rapprochement of the Holy See with the globalisation of the USA).

I do not fishy that the Pope's words are motivated by sympathy for Russia's conservative policy, due to the fact that the Pope himself seems to push the Catholic Church in a completely other direction than Moscow: Putin late banned sex change in Russia, while the Pope seems to favour any form of designation of marriages for a known-who.

I think that, first of all, there is the sympathy of people outside Europe towards Russia as a counterweight to the West. We see this late in Africa, we see it in confederate and south-western Asia, but it is besides strong in Latin America. The people of many countries of the planet are waiting a small while and hope to enter a strong Russia into planet politics to have a point of support for the oppressive West. I think, more or little consciously, this imagination is besides present in the Pope's head.

Secondly, possibly somewhere in the background there is besides an eternal dream in the Vatican of subjugating Russia. likewise as Catholic conservatives effort to tame the U.S. by hoping that in the 21st century this country will enter the function of Austro-Hungarian and become Catholic, it will stay the world's top power (the same being "muscles" for Vatican use), so possibly somewhere in the heads of any Catholic bureaucrats there is simply a thought in specified a function of seeing Russia.

Let us add that with respect to the latter, it is likely that both the orientation of the US and Russia is rather quaint. Catholicism in the U.S. was oversaturated by its constitutional ideology as early as the late 19th century and although it may have become the most Christian confession in the country in subsequent decades, it will have the face of Tomasz Terlikowski and Joe Biden. Catholic conservatives would like him to have the face of Mark Jurk, but it's a fantasy, not taking into account the cultural realities of the United States. The Catholicization of Russia is more or little as likely as the Catholicization of England, due to the fact that the historical mythology of both states is the opposition of the globalist pretension of Rome.

Polish Catholics (from traditionalist integrists to liberal “Tygodnik Powszechny”), how easy it was to predict, after the pope's words they got from the rage of turning the bowels that individual might not hatred Russia as they did. In fact, Polish Catholicism should declare schism and unite in union with the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church – the ryth would be NOM, the liturgical language of Ukrainian and everyone would be pleased.

More seriously, I believe that there are "two" popes of Francis. The “first” represents Catholicism in a state of “priesty” – will it end in transforming Catholicism into any fresh democratic and devoid of “imperialist” series of confession, or any integristic “punk of Janev” and an effort to reconsolidate (or possibly Benedict XVI's pontificate? – ending as patheticly as the "punk of Janayev" just did), or possibly by falling apart and "pulling the flag off the mast", it is impossible to predict. The "Second" Francis is, on the another hand, a Latin American, acting as a "outside" spiritual doctrine, in a "geopolitical" field, as a typical typical of his (suffered) continent.

“First” Francis-reformer of Catholicism is fundamentally indifferent to us. His imagination of the Church contains any affirmative elements (ecology, de facto giving up proselytism to become 1 of the “great religions of the world”), but the majority are, however, demoliberous in-culture (abolitionism, democracy, egalitarianism, cultural mesis, pacifism, silent acceptance of moral degrengolada, mostly propaganda of “slavery morality”). The second "Pope-Latinos" is simply a affirmative figure, due to the fact that – like most people in the planet (which can be seen from the West and especially from Poland) – more or little consciously longing for a polycentric world.
