About 150 aircraft and 3,000 troops from more than a twelve NATO countries are participating in the “Arctic Challenge 2023” air maneuvers launched on Monday. Exercises involving American, French and Swedish fighters, among others, are taking place in northern Finland, Sweden and Norway. In Rovaniemi, pacifists and environmentalists protested against the maneuvers.
