Representatives of the WB Group and Military method Academy inaugurated the activities of the TOPAZ strategy laboratory. The laboratory will let to introduce into the teaching process the actual combat management solutions utilized by the Polish Army. This is the second laboratory, which was created at the Warsaw military university in cooperation with the WB Group.
On 12 April, Adam Bartosiewicz, Vice president of the WB Group, Prof. Dr. Ryszard Szplet, Dean of the Faculty of Electronics and Colonel Jan Waiter, manager of the Institute of Communications Systems, solemnly opened a modern laboratory at the Jarosław Dąbrowski Military method Academy. The coordinator of the construction process of the studio was Dr Janusz Dudczyk with the support of Dr Łukasz Rybak.
The laboratory is intended to be utilized in the training of substraints in the operation of the TOPAZ system. Completely developed in Poland Integrated fighting strategy TOPAZ is simply a solution for the efficient usage of current and future military resources.
The continuous improvement and extension of the solution by the WB Group – the leading Polish supplier of communication and command systems – guarantees the user to keep a constant information advantage over the opponent.
The Integrated Combat strategy TOPAZ is simply a comprehensive and modular strategy solution, which will supply command commanders at all level of command full control of the situation in the battlefield. The laboratory will enable students to master future command processes that will be able to make and test on a functioning system, identical to those utilized in combat units.
This is the second, after the digital studio vehicle communication platform FONET, a laboratory operating at the Military method Academy, The construction was attended by specialists from the WB Group.
