Kyiv, Odessa, and Zaporizhzhia Under Fire: Russia's Massive Attack on Ukraine

On the night of August 26–27, 2026, Russia launched a massive airstrike against Ukrainian territory. The attack active supersonic Onyx missiles, Iskander ballistic missiles, and 258 drones—some of which were shot down by Ukrainian air defenses. Kyiv, Odessa, Kryvyi Rih, and Zaporizhzhia were the areas most severely affected by the attack. At least 9 people were injured, and 1 individual died.
