The April judgement of the TEU will not halt the entry into force of a fresh charge on mobile phones

From 13 November 2026, the reprographic fee will be charged, among others, mobile phones, tablets, computers, and even TVs and decoders with built-in memory. For most of these devices, the rate will be 1% of the net sales price. The Ombudsman asks about the appropriateness of introducing a fresh charge. Ministry of Culture and National Heritage responds.
