Cuba is ready for a "serious and liable dialogue" with the United States with respect to tense bilateral relations," said Cuban abroad Minister Bruno Rodriguez, quoted by Reuter.
Mr Rodriguez, who spoke at the summit of the Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC), stressed at the same time that dialog with the US must not affect "interference in interior affairs" of Cuba.
On Friday, his deputy Carlos Fernandez de Cossio stated that Cuba's political strategy cannot be negotiated with the US administration. He besides stated that the negotiations "categorically" were not subject to the position of president Miguel Diaz-Canel in the Cuban government.
