Which first woman was the best in the past of the 3rd Republic? There will be no surprise, due to the fact that Agata Kornhauser-Duda was incapable to throw off the throne leading for years in the “ranking” of the first ladies of Jolanta Kwasniewska. The wife of B. president Alexander Kwasniewski was the best Polish first woman in the opinion of almost half the respondents.

The SW investigation poll commissioned by “Onet” asked Poles about which first woman of the 3rd Polish Republic was the best in their opinion.

As in many another studies in which the same question was asked, the wife of president Alexander Kwasniewski – Jolanta Kwasniewska – was victorious. In the latest poll, as many as 49.6% of respondents voted for it!

This is more than 3 times more than the first woman with the second result, that is Maria Kaczyńska, with whom 14.1% of respondents are most sympathetic. Agata Kornhauser-Duda was only in 3rd place with a modest score of 6.7 percent. The 4th Danuta Wałęsa was the best first woman in the opinion of 3.6 percent of respondents.

The weakest consequence was noted by Bronisław Komorowski. Only 1.9 percent of respondents voted for Anna Komorowska.

24.1% of the surveyers chose the answer I do not know/do not have an opinion.

Jolanta Kwasniewska is the undisputed leader of the popularity of first ladies not only in general, but besides in individual age groups. Alexander Kwasniewski's top sympathy (59.4%) is among those over 50. Interestingly, Kwasniewska besides wins among the respondents who have not yet been 24 years old, although the oldest of them were 3 years old at most, erstwhile the 3rd president of Poland left the Presidential Palace after full 2 terms. Among the subjects up to 24 years, Jolanta Kwasniewska obtained 20.5% of the indications. Apparently, the legend of the first woman from 1995 to 2005 is passed on from generation to generation, although her results among young – although highest – are clearly weaker than the notes of older respondents.

It is worth noting that Jolanta Kwasniewska obtained the most indications regardless of the sex of the respondents. 52.3 percent women and 46.7 percent men voted for it.
