KSC: 1 year alternatively of six months. First a cross-party compromise, then a dispute over a high-risk supplier

At its Thursday gathering on 8 January, the Digital, Innovation and Modern Technology Commission adopted an amendment which gives companies more time to costlyly implement cybersecurity requirements. A high-risk supplier turned out to be a crucial part of the revision of the KSC. There have been allegations of postponement; formal proposals have been closed respective times. There was besides a dispute over limiting the debate on the committee, which was even referred to as gagging the vote of the opposition.
