The hazard of escalation of global conflicts is real and close – Fr. Pietro Parolin.
Referring to the fresh version of the conflict in the mediate East, the Secretary of State of the Holy See called for the immediate conclusion of peace-threatening actions and the return to dialog and diplomacy.
Fr. Card. Pietro Parolin spoke of a tense global situation during a gathering in the Chamber of Deputies in Rome, organized during the presentation of the book “Leon XIV. Who do you think I am? I am the boy of St Augustine.”
"I would say that they should halt this as shortly as possible, due to the fact that there truly is simply a hazard of escalation," said the Secretary of State in consequence to the question of sending to the American and Israeli authorities.
