We want to bring to the Lord a prayer for peace," said Archbishop Adam Szal during the Memorial Ceremony in tribute to Poles saving Jews in Podkarpacie, held at the Museum of Poles rescuing Jews in Markowa. The event is included in the 3rd Heritage Days of the Blessed Ulmów Family.
On March 24th, the National Day of Memory for Poles saving Jews under German occupation. More plaques were unveiled at the Wall of the Justice Memorial at the Ulm Museum – this time with the names of 8 people who helped judaic neighbors during the war.
At the cemetery in Jagielle-Niederki, and later in Markowa, where the mud came from. The Ulmów household held celebrations to commemorate the heroes for whom it was crucial to fulfill the commandment of God's love and neighbor.
May our prayer grant mercy to those who, believing in you, have died in you – the metropolitan of the manufacture prayed at the planet War II Cemetery in Jagiello-Nederek, reminding us that all cemetery of war is simply a cry for peace.
- I'm sorry. In the context of the Second planet War, the post-war times, besides in the context of the cruel wars that are taking place present in Ukraine, or in the mediate East, or in another parts of the world, here in this cemetery, to bring to the Lord God a prayer for peace. Let our gathering besides take on specified a character – said Fr. Archbishop Szal.
