Confederate centre-right leader Krzysztof Bosak carefully commented on those who are presently calling for a break in diplomatic relations with the Russian Federation. According to the centre-right, they are either “irresponsible or uninformed”.
– Anyone who suggests that Poland could enter the war at this moment, send troops to Ukraine, is irresponsible or uninformed – reports Krzysztof Bosak's words on rp.pl, which have died on Radio Zet.
Bosak besides referred to the eventual expulsion of Russian ambassador from Poland:
– I don't think there's any reason for that right now. Expulsion is breaking diplomatic relations – reports the words of the rp.pl policy.
Let us remind that just after the outbreak of the conflict in Ukraine in February 2022 Bosak publically attached himself a ribbon in Ukrainian national colours. At the same time, he took an unequivocally pro-Ukrainian and anti-Russian attitude, and declared that he "has a distance" towards the slogan "Stop the Ukrainianization of Poland". In the last election run to the parliament, the Ukrainians' slogans, which previously raised only Grzegorz Braun and Janusz Korwin-Mikke, gained designation of Bosak and Sławomir Mentzen only at the end of the election competition, which did not consequence in the desired result. The Confederacy achieved a score of about 7% and ranked last among the groups that exceeded the 5 percent electoral threshold.
After the election, even though Sławomir Mentzen declared work for election defeat, the consequences were drawn only to Janusz Korwin-Mikke. Sławomir Mentzen himself previously considered the "positive" influx of Ukrainians to Poland and stated that he "does not see" any Ukrainianization of Poland.
