Tuesday Jarosław Kaczyński met with US Ambassador Thomas Rose, reported on social media. "I am glad that I had the chance to meet and talk to Ambassador Tom Rose. We have talked about many issues: the relations between our countries, the safety of Poland and the region, the importance of conducting a subjective policy and the function of Poland in the world, but besides about past and the current political situation. I was peculiarly pleased to receive the appreciation of our government's efforts to strengthen Polish defence," wrote the president of the Law and Justice Office, posting any photos from the meeting.
Bosak critically about the Kaczyński meeting
He criticized the interview on portal X Deputy Marshal of the Sejm of the Confederation Krzysztof Bosak. “The symbol of the arrangement of this meeting, the chosen host lineup, the table, the seating of the guests — all of this resembles authoritative state visits. It is simply a symbolic continuation of the mediocre tradition of setting ambassadors in Poland as equal to or above Polish leaders, in the political hierarchy. Sometimes specified symbolic overstepping on ambassadors stems from a misconception of kindness, a desire to honor them. This is, to my best knowledge, unprofessional and incompatible with protocol.“ He wrote.
