P. Krzemiński: Will there be a secular inquisition in France?

French president Emmanuel Macron citing the constitutional evidence that was placed under the de Gaulle case raised the retirement age by 2 years without voting in the National Assembly.

Multimillion-dollar protests and riots broke out in the country. However, it is clear that a immense percent of French people are outraged by the dictatorship of the President, who shows the illusion of French democracy.

A female who wrote an offensive comment on Macron was accused of insulting the majesty and threatens her with 12 1000 euro penalties. It's like Louis XIV. Protests are brutally suppressed to the point that even the Council of Europe expressed its concern. Paradoxically, even recently, the French government called on Iran to halt suppressing protests, even though they were much more aggressive than those in France.

It is justified to ask whether an organ will be called up to track down “anti-state activities”, as it was during the time of the Paris Commune and then the National Convention. Murderism was perfectly described by Polish historian Teodor Jeske-Choiński in his novels: Lightning, Jakobini and Terror.

The French crisis can be linked to the departure of this country from Christian values. France, which struggles to suppress the radicalism of the multimillion Muslim population, applies extremist persecution of religion in general. Young Catholics cannot wear a cross in public places. At the same time, France prides itself on its “democracy”.

A state that is not built on civilizational values will sooner or later be ruined. Mass protests are only the beginning of the decay and decline of the prestige of France. Many people may think that the hope for the French is the nationalist Marine Le Pen. Unfortunately, her program calls for a stronger fight against all manifestation of religion, including Christianity. So even the election of Le Pen as president of the republic will not rip this country out of the darkness in which it fell in the late 18th century and continues in them to this day.

Unfortunately, everything seems to be getting worse, not better. But time will tell which states will survive. Whether those who respect Christian morality or those worshiping idols of secular democracy.
