Crumpets won't be a landmark. Buried goes to the ministry

One of the most celebrated pedestrians in Poland - Zakopane Krupówka - will not be entered in the registry of monuments - decided by the provincial monument conservationist. Maintenance services indicated a number of reasons, including "great interference" in this area, dominance of commercial function and "loss of authenticity". The Zakopane authorities announce that they will appeal the decision to the Ministry of Culture.
